Maxine Rivers

Head Coach/ Founder

Maxine has an extensive background in Gymnastics both as an athlete and as a coach. Maxine has competed at National level in Trampolining, Double Mini Tramp (DMT) and Artistic Gymnastics.


Over the years Maxine has helped coach in many of the gymnastics fields such as Trampolining, General Gymnastics and Artistic Gymnastics. When back in 2012 Maxine made the transition to move into a new gymnastic discipline and coach Aerobic Gymnastics. Maxine helped to coach at an elite Aerobic Gymnastic club, and during her time their she helped to coach gymnasts from recreational  level all the way up to members of the Great Britain (GB) Squad.  


Maxine has qualifications in both Artistic (Level 1) and Aerobic Gymnastics (Level 2), as well as her (level 1) Club Judge award in Aerobic Gymnastics. Maxine has also successfully passed the UEG Aerobic Coaching Course which was held in Italy. Additionally to this Maxine has all the relevant and up to date Safe Guarding and Child Protection Certificates, DBS certificate, First Aid Certificate and  her Time to Listen certificate.

Lucy Notman

Head Coach - Junior Force/ Junior Dev

Lucy has over 10 years experience within Gymnastics - she has always had a love for gymnastics and dedicating her life to many of the gymnastic disciplines along the way.

Lucy has spent four years as an Artistic Gymnast, six years as an Aerobic Gymnast and has now moved to competing in Trampolining. Although Lucy is only 16 years of age and currently studying her GCSE's she is very enthusiastic about coaching within a gymnastic field that she has loved for many years.

Lucy is very much interested in Physical and Sport Education along with Science, and hopes to use these experience to help the young children she is teaching to enjoy the sport as much as she did. In the future Lucy would very much like to gain herself the relevant Gymnastic Qualifications, and work in a field to do with sports or science.


Sally Garner

Head Coach - Mini Force/ Mini Dev

Sally was a Rhythmic Gymnast up until the age of 15. She was a member of the Great

Britain Junior Group competing at the European Championships in Minsk 2011 as well as the World Cup Event in Portimao.

Sally is now studying a BSc Hons Degree in Sports Rehabilitation.

Sally is now looking to apply her gymnastics experiences and knowledge to coaching and learning more about Aerobic Gymnastics. In the future Sally would like to gain her relevant gymnastics qualifications to progress as a coach so she can remain apart of the sport she loves.

Kai Freeman

Head Coach - Boys Development
Kai has always had a fond interest in Dance, Gymnastics and Cheerleading. As a young child, and even up until now Kai has and always will be physically active. In his early years Kai participated in dance (Ballet and Tap). At the tender age of 7 Kai discovered competitive Cheerleading - this became a huge interest and love of his due to it covering all areas of dance, jumping, tumbling and stunting. Fasting forwarding 10 years Kai is still competing in the sport he loves, and throughout his Cheer career Kai has managed to attain numerous Regional and National titles! Kai currently competes for one of the top teams in the country and in April 2017 he will be competing at the USAF Cheerleading World Championships. Asides from Cheer Kai is currently studying Performing Arts at College  (Contemporary) and looks to continue in his studies at University. Due to Kai's passion in sport he has now taken up coaching and looks to pass on his knowledge to all gymnasts who he has contact with. Kai is also keen to undergo the relevant coaching qualifications when the time is right in order to further his development on the coaching aspects of the sport.

Emma Dax

Cover Coach
Emma has danced since the age of two and has achieved up to grade 8 and intermediate class in ballet, tap, modern, character and pointe, additionally to this Emma has also completed her bronze Olympic medal in tap and modern and has taken part in many annual dances shows. Emma is now keen to extend her learning to Aerobic Gymnastics whilst studying her degree in BA Hons Drama. In the future Emma would like to have a career working with and teaching young children in the performing arts and creative industry.
